There are many ways that local businesses can have a deep and lasting impact on the future of our community. These include:

Join the Waste Wise Business All Stars Directory

Join the Waste Wise Business All Stars Directory! Complete our self-assessment survey HERE – only 10 questions – and become a key driver in our quest to transform our community into a zero waste destination.

We are rapidly expanding our forward-facing database that allows visitors to understand the measures that each local business is taking with respect to the environment, so that they can take that information into account when making decisions about how to spend their tourism-related funds.

Adopt A Spot

Join Villa Santa Cruz, Hotel San Cristobal, El Mirador and other businesses from La Pastora to Los Cerritos in our Adopt A Spot program in which local businesses and neighborhoods are adopting the spots throughout town, desert and beach that they have a vested interest in keeping clean, and committing to keeping them trash-free on an ongoing basis. Open a Public Water Bottle Refill Station

Join DoceCuarenta Café, Aldo’s Gym and several other local businesses in eliminating the use and discard of single-use plastic water bottles by installing a Water Ways Baja public water bottle refill station. Help expand the network of places available to visitors and residents to fill their water bottles.
