Before the summer break, Alianza Cero Basura conducted a Waste Management Workshop with the teachers and support staff of Miguel Hidalgo.  It was an exciting exchange of ideas around creating a school project, aligned with the school curriculum, to reduce the amount of garbage the school sends to the landfill. The discussion centered around activating spaces in the school to promote practical learning in waste separation, organic waste management, and a composting operation in which all students could actively participate.
