Cleanup BCS conducted its 3rd annual statewide cleanup on March 30 and Alianza Cero Basura’s Adopt A Spot members shone! 131 people in 11 locations from Los Cerritos to Las Playitas collected 3.5 tons of trash, more than double the amount of people and trash collected the year before. 188 kg of waste was separated and diverted from the landfill.
Across the state 4,400 volunteers in 11 cities and 5 municipalities collected 200 tons of waste at 54 locations. Todos Santos was only one of 3 locations in the state to separate its waste! It was a great community effort.
