The Alianza Cero Basura Organic Waste Farm opened to the public for organic waste drop offs on April 9, 2025! It is a great step forward in ACB’s program to provide alternatives to the landfill for the community’s waste, and in the first 3 weeks of operation the farm took in 335 kg of kitchen waste and 12,500 kg of garden waste. We are looking forward to more businesses and households joining the program and helping to reduce fires at the landfill by repurposing their organic waste into healthy soil and soil products.
